About the Conference
Colossians 1:28 states one goal of the apostle Paul and the early disciples. They focused on helping each person come into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, then focused on helping them grow into a mature Christian. As we grow as a Christian, Paul's goal will become more and more a part of our life focus. The theme of this year's Parent Teen Leadership (PTL) Conference is "Maturing in Christ Together."
The conference will provide opportunities for parents and teens to be engaged throughout the conference in learning, sharing, and serving together as we take steps toward maturity in Christ.
Schedule
The conference for 2009 begins with registration at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday July 23th and concludes on Monday July 27 at 4:30 p.m.
The time will include teaching, community service, and evangelism training.
Cost
The registration cost is $150 per registrant. After two registrants per family, each additional registrant per family is just $75. (Scholarships are available upon request by contacting pastor@walnutcreekcc.org)
T-Shirt Challenge
Everyone who memorizes the ten PTL Conference verses before or during the conference will receive a conference t-shirt.
Verses will be available on June 23.
